Hey friends! It’s Christine (ccouch) bringing you the first of a new feature on the AHD blog – - recipes! We all have our favorites and we thought it would be great to share with you gals some of the things we’ve got cookin’!
One of my favorite (and seriously easiest) recipes is good ol’ fashioned dump cake. I’ve been craving it big time, and so I thought I’d share the recipe with y’all and maybe you could make some too! It really couldn’t be any easier – just a few ingredients, only one dish to wash, and it’s totally yummy to boot!
I made this little recipe card with Amanda’s Ba Da Bing which is such an awesome kit!

Hey everyone! I’m a little late bringing you today’s post, and I apologize for that. The holiday weekend just has me all out of sorts. And speaking of the holiday weekend, I hope those of you in the States enjoyed all the Independence Day festivities!
Today, we’re highlighting an awesome LO I discovered while browsing Amanda’s product gallery at Scrap Orchard. This one by lhaslem just jumped out at me. First of all, I really love the kit she chose (although I’m probably biased!), and I absolutely love the way she used it–the colors, all those amazing papers, the alpha, the sweet photos, and fantastic journaling–it all just works together beautifully. The way she chose to document the milestones in little Carter’s life is terrific.

Good Tuesday, everyone!! Rebecca… aka Mamabee… here with my very first blog posting for Amanda! Whoa, does she know what she just allowed to happen? LOL!
I’ve been in a rut lately when it comes to titles… I’m having a hard time trying to think of a fresh new title for my page and I find myself using the same titles over and over again. Does this happen to you? And now that we are in summer time (for those of us in the northern hemisphere)… scrapping time is at a premium. So to help me… and I hope you find it inspirational… here is a list of possible titles for our pages about summer!
I hope this list is found useful! What are your favorite summer titles?

Hi there everyone, I am back for the last Wednesday in April and the last of the Designaversary challenges from me! This time around I thought it might be fun to scrap a page about an anniversary that is special to you… the catch is, it can’t be a wedding anniversary. So pick something fun and scrap about it.
Want some ideas? Try going back and looking at your pictures of what you did a year ago today… or last week… or whenever.
What about the first time you climbed a tree? You could use this kit:
What about the anniversary of your first pet goldfish (or the 3 days later when it died!)
The anniversary of the date that you got your new camera.
or maybe even the time when your kid broke their arm skateboarding.
So there are a few ideas that you could use but feel free to come up with some fun ones on your own. I can’t wait to see what you do – link us back up here on the blog with your finished layout so we can all go and leave some love for your page!

Happy Sunday everyone! Helen (sbg3396) just popping in to do a random blog post. No one knows I am doing it. Since one of my responsibilities for Amanda’s team is to blog and I have yet to do a post, I thought I would surprise everyone! I love to blog! Love love love it! Being a relatively shy girl I find it much easier to express myself through written word. Always have.
It has been a gorgeous weekend here in the Midwest. Sunshine, light breezes, flowers blooming, mowers mowing, birds chirping…..ahhh, I just love Springtime! Gets me all giddy :)
Know what else I love? Looking through the gallery over at Scrap Orchard and seeing all the scrumptious layouts done with Amanda’s kits. This month, as you probably know, is Amanda’s 3rd anniversary as a designer so I thought I would spotlight some layouts using a variety of her stuffs!

Hi Amanda fans!!
Have you taken a browse through the gallery in awhile? I admit, I haven’t had much time the last few weeks to browse through, and I know that you are all busily preparing for the upcoming holiday! So I looked through the gallery today to see what was new (LOTS of x-mas layouts!!), and found a few hybrid projects that were just TOO CUTE not to show off!!
First up is this popcorn box by Samara Gugler – isn’t it just adorable??? Imagine all the things you could tuck into it! Nobody says a popcorn box HAS to hold popcorn right?
Then I ran across these little gems by CT member Vickilyn (aka hybrid goddess, lol). I just loved these projects so much, and can imagine all kinds of gifts being tucked into these. Maybe a years worth of photos, favorite photos, a slideshow of layouts to send to grandparents can be tucked into the CD holder. Gift cards, small albums, or maybe jewelry could be tucked into the cute little box! Or you could make them with any other kit and make them year round!!
And then I ran across this exploding box created by team member Trina (slurpeegirl13). Can you believe this is her FIRST hybrid project? She looks like a pro to me!
I don’t know about you, but seeing these really makes me want to print and assemble something!! We are staying with friends for the weekend – maybe I should make a little thank you box and tuck a GC inside?? Sounds good to me!
