Hi everyone and Happy February! I am excited because February is a short month, the days are getting longer and you can almost feel spring in the air. I know it is a while yet, but one can hope.
While I am waiting for spring to come there are a few distractions to keep me busy and the first one is Valentines Day! Awwww… the day of love, where your loved one showers you with chocolates and flowers and jewelery… oh wait, I forgot, that is only in my dreams! For me, it is more about making sure the day care has treats for the valentines party, the kids have red clothes to wear and I don’t miss anyone’s name on a Valentine! Someday my husband and I will have a romantic getaway, but for now I will dream of a quiet night!
While I am planning for valentines day I thought this year that I would try to make my own. While I was working on some of them I thought that you might like to try it too. You could just email them to whomever you want or you could print them and decorate like a hybrid project and send them in the mail or to the daycare if need be!

I made my sample one here with Momma’s Boy, one of Amanda’s new kits and it is PERFECT for valentines, lots of strong colors, reds and blues and purples, lots of hearts and cute word art. There are all sorts of other kits that would work just as well but this is one of my latest favorites and if you haven’t seen it take a peek and check it out.
